Is it possible to add or edit application details after submitting the application

Yes, can add, edit and update details before the application deadline with the user ID and password available at the time of registration.

What is the upper age limit for applying for ITI admission

ANS There is no age limit and the applicant is 14 years of age or above at the time of application

What are the eligibility requirements for admission

ANS 10th pass for metric trade and those who have failed 10th class can also apply for the non metric trade

Is fee required at the time of application

No application fee is required

What are the benefits for students other than SC ST trainees

Uniform Allowance and Study Tour Allowance are available for other than SC ST trainees Free study materials nutritious food and lunch are also available The entire course is free

How many seats are allotted for SC ST and other categories

ANS 80 percent SC 10 percent ST 10 percent Other than SC and ST

Is caste certificate required to be submitted at the time of application

Caste certificate is required at the time of admission only

Can SC students completing ITI course get an opportunity as an apprentice trainee in SCDD ITIs

Yes the SC students who pass the NCVT course get an opportunity for appointment as Apprentice Trainee based on interview and marks only

Is Saturday be a working day in ITIs

Yes every Saturday is a working day except public holidays and the second Saturday

Do I need an e mail ID when applying online

Yes e mail ID is required at the time of application

What are the documents required for admission

SSLC Certificate TC Caste Certificate for SC ST students Aadhaar Passport size Photo Nationalized Bank Account Valid E mail ID Phone Number

Can phone number and e mail ID be changed before completing the course and obtaining the certificate

No phone number and e mail id cannot be changed until course is completed and certificate is received

Can an applicant apply to multiple ITIs using the same mobile number

Yes the applicant can register with a mobile number and get the login ID and password Applications can be submitted to more than one ITI using that login ID

What is meant by Other caste

Anyone other than Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is referred as Other Caste

What are the conditions for writing the exam

80 attendance is mandatory for writing the exam Must have completed the course and obtained the prescribed sessional mark
